Terms of Service
These Terms explain how Customers Today helps businesses receive, organise and respond to customer enquiries. They are written in plain language; they do not replace any agreement that you have separately entered into with us.
1. Using Customers Today
Customers Today gives your business one place to receive website enquiries, see what matters today and respond quickly. Depending on the integrations you enable, enquiries may arrive through forwarded email or supported website forms.
The service helps you organise and prioritise incoming messages. It does not guarantee that a message is a genuine customer, that every message will be delivered, or that an enquiry will become a sale.
2. Your account and team
You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials confidential and promptly tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
You are responsible for the actions of anyone you invite to or allow to use your business account. Use Customers Today only for your own lawful business purposes.
3. Your enquiries and customer data
You retain responsibility for the enquiries, contact details, attachments and other information you send to Customers Today. You must have a lawful basis to collect, share and use that information.
When you connect an email address or website form, you are responsible for configuring it correctly and for keeping your existing customer notifications where needed. Customers Today should receive a copy of relevant enquiries, not silently replace communications your business relies on.
4. Integrations and third-party services
Some features rely on third-party services, including email providers, WordPress and form plugins. Those services have their own terms, privacy notices and availability. We cannot control changes, interruptions or limits imposed by them.
Only connect integrations that you own or are authorised to manage. You can disable a connection when you no longer want it to send data to Customers Today.
5. AI-assisted processing
Customers Today may use configured AI providers to summarise enquiries, identify contact details and help flag likely marketing or spam. These outputs are assistance, not a substitute for your judgement.
You remain responsible for reviewing important enquiries and making decisions about customers. Do not use Customers Today to make solely automated decisions that create legal or similarly significant effects for a person.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Customers Today to send or process unlawful, deceptive, abusive or harmful content; to access another person's data without permission; or to interfere with the security or operation of the service.
We may suspend or limit access where we reasonably believe use creates a security risk, breaches these Terms or could harm Customers Today, its users or other people.
7. Availability, changes and support
We work to keep Customers Today secure and available, but online services can experience maintenance, outages and third-party failures. We may update, improve or retire features as the product evolves.
Where a change materially affects your use of the service, we will aim to provide reasonable notice when practical.
8. Ending access
You can stop using Customers Today at any time. You may also request account closure through the Customers Today team.
We may suspend or end access if required by law, for security reasons, or for a material breach of these Terms. Sections that should reasonably continue after access ends, including those about responsibility and liability, will continue to apply.
9. Liability
Customers Today is provided on an evolving service basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect loss, lost profits, lost opportunities or loss caused by a third-party integration, an inaccurate AI output or an action you take based on an enquiry.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
10. Questions and changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Customers Today grows or legal requirements change. The current version is published on this page.
If you have questions about these Terms, contact the Customers Today team.
